My Commercial Background: I’ve built my career across the full commercial spectrum – from national account management and global sourcing to Head of Product & Commercial Portfolio roles in large manufacturing environments. I founded and scaled my own product business from a home-based start-up to £1.2m turnover before achieving a successful trade sale exit in 2024. Currently operating in a consultative role through Point One Consulting for UK SME product businesses and large international organisations across Europe and Asia. Engagements include UK market entry strategy for multinational manufacturers, business development programmes, margin recovery projects, and e-commerce platform development.

A commercial career shows steady advancement, entrepreneurial success, and strategic consulting across international markets.
Beginning at Johnson Tiles in 2007 as National Accounts Manager, managed £20m in revenue across major retail accounts, including B&Q and Topps Tiles. His commercial acumen led to promotion to Global Sourcing & Commercial Manager, where I established supply chains across three continents and implemented supplier compliance frameworks. By 2018, had advanced to Head of Product & Commercial Portfolio with £15m P&L responsibility, where he reversed sustained margin erosion and led teams of 10 commercial professionals.
In 2020, accepted the challenge of leading UK market entry for Tile Space Ltd, an international manufacturer. Within 12 months, contributed £500k revenue growth by building commercial infrastructure that integrated e-commerce with traditional distribution channels.
In 2021 entrepreneurial ambition led to the founding of TSD Ltd in 2021. Starting from home, scaled the business to £1.2m turnover with international sourcing across Europe and Asia, 4 x 3PL warehouses, and year-on-year margin improvement. The business’s commercial foundation proved robust enough to attract a trade buyer, resulting in successful exit in 2024.
Rather than immediately returning to corporate roles, Point One Consulting to work with both UK SMEs and large international organisations. This consulting phase has sharpened my strategic advisory capabilities while maintaining hands-on commercial execution across market entry, business development, and margin recovery projects.
