Why are you searching for new opportunities?
Having been involved in new business startups, I took the business as far as I could before deciding to sell, leading to its subsequent acquisition. My goal was to fulfill my ambition of starting a business and to gain a vast amount of experience and knowledge that is often unattainable in a traditional employment role, a goal I have now achieved.
I have become a well-rounded and experienced individual with many transferable skills. Professionally, I seek an opportunity to utilise my skills and experience to contribute to and support an organisation’s growth journey. On a personal level, my motivation for returning to an employed position is to provide stability for myself and my family.

Why would you consider leaving self employment?
Founding & running a small business was an ambition that I have accomplished. The rational behind any decision to return to employment is due to a variety of personal and professional considerations. Ultimately the experience gained means I am now a much more rounded and experienced individual with a significant amount of transferable skills to offer any organisation.
Would you find the transition from self employed to employed difficult?
I recognise that transitioning from self-employment to full-time employment entails certain adjustments, particularly regarding structure and routine. Throughout my career, I have consistently adapted to diverse roles and settings. Self-employment has necessitated a high degree of adaptability, efficient time management, and the ability to juggle various tasks at once.
Previously, I have shifted from a corporate setting to launching my own venture. That shift honed my ability to adapt swiftly to new operational methods and reinforced my self-discipline and time management capabilities. My self-employment journey has sharpened my project management, client engagement, and strategic planning skills, among others. These competencies are easily transferable to a full-time position, enabling me to make an immediate impact.
Are you willing to travel?
My current location is within a 50 mile radius of Manchester & Birmingham with easy access several international airports and excellent commute links for travel across the UK.
All of my previous roles have involved extensive UK and international travel, often requiring long periods away from home. Therefore, domestic or international travel and commuting are not barriers to employment for me.
Are you willing to relocate?
If the correct opportunity presents itself then I would consider relocation.

What package are you looking for?
Remuneration is an important aspect of any career decision. However, I also value other aspects of any role, for example, flexibility, opportunities for professional growth, a new challenge and the ability to acquire and test my skills and knowledge. Fundamentally the role must assist in the further development and success of a business and its stakeholders.
